How It Works
Assessment & Color Consultation
We assess your concrete and discuss stain options including acid stain, water-based stain, or dye. We review color samples and design options.
Surface Preparation
The concrete is cleaned, degreased, and mechanically prepared. All existing coatings, sealers, and contaminants must be removed for proper stain penetration.
Crack & Spall Repair
Cracks and spalls are repaired. Note: repaired areas will stain differently than the surrounding concrete. We discuss this with clients before proceeding.
Stain Application
The stain is applied using sprayers, brushes, or sponges depending on the desired effect. Acid stains are neutralized and rinsed after the reaction is complete.
Decorative Details (if applicable)
Saw-cut borders, scoring patterns, and multi-color designs are applied at this stage to create a custom look.
Sealer Application
A UV-stable sealer is applied to protect the stain and enhance the color. We offer matte, satin, and high-gloss sealer options.
